Do you allow pets?

Yes, we do! Our apartments are pet-friendly to both dogs and cats. We do have a limit of 2 pets per apartment. A one-time pet fee of $500 is charged up front. We also have a monthly pet fee of $50 per pet.

Do you have breed restrictions for dogs?

​As of April 18, 2022, we no longer have breed restrictions.

What are your office hours?

The Leasing Office is open Monday-Friday from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm, Saturday from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm, and Sunday 12:00 pm- 5:00 pm. The Front Desk is open Monday-Sunday 9:00 am - 12:00 am.

What are your prices?

Our community features studios, one-, and two-bedroom floor plans with a variety of layouts, and lease term options to match your needs. Our rents may change daily, so for the most up-to-date pricing, we recommend that you check the availability on the floor plans page. Additionally, we do have a $50 application fee and a one-time $500 move-in fee due at the time of application. Should you have questions on any charges, please feel free to contact our wonderful office staff.

Do you require a security deposit?

The requirement of a security deposit is based on credit. Once you apply, we will run a credit/background screening which will determine whether or not a security deposit is required. If it is determined that a security deposit is required, it will be equal to one month's rent and is due at the time of lease signing.

Do you require renter's insurance?

​We require renter's insurance with liability coverage in the amount of $300,000 and the property must be listed as an additional party of interest. You may choose any renter's insurance company you like. We are also happy to offer Resident Insure (https://www.residentinsure.com/), which comes pre-loaded with all property insurance requirements, as an option for all residents.

Are you close to the metro?

The Braddock Metro Station (blue and yellow lines) is located approximately 3 minutes from the community. The King Street Metro Station (blue and yellow lines) is located approximately 2 miles from Meridian at Braddock.

Is there grocery shopping nearby?

Yes. Giant, Harris Teeter, Trader Joe's, and Aldi are close in proximity to the property for your convenience! In addition, you will find that services such as Instacart are easy to use in our area if you don't have the time to do your shopping and would rather have it delivered.

Are there restaurants and bars nearby?

Residents of the Meridian at Braddock can easily take advantage of the extensive shopping, restaurants, services, and recreation the City of Alexandria has to offer. Nearby are the Alexandria waterfront, miles of paved bike paths, and a public marina, as well as within walking distance of the property are a diverse collection of restaurants, bars, and shops.

Do you have street parking?

Yes! Street parking is available on the Southeast side of the community on N. Fayette Street. Those spaces are limited to a 2-hour time slot from 8:00 am - 9:00 pm. All street parking is available on a first-come/first-serve basis and controlled by the City of Alexandria.

How much is parking?

Monthly garage parking for residents is $100 per month for the first vehicle and $175 per month for a second vehicle. Tandem parking (assigned spot) is available for $200.00 per month. We also offer guest parking in the garage for $7.00 per 24 hours.

Are your apartments furnished?

Our apartments are not furnished; however, we will gladly set up a furnished apartment through a third-party furniture rental company.

Do you have a pool?

Yes! We have an outdoor pool located on the rooftop of our Phase I Building. The pool is open six days per week from Memorial Day through Labor Day, and a lifeguard is on duty while open.

Do you have on-site maintenance?

Our maintenance staff is on-site Monday-Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm to address all routine work orders. Most routine work orders are addressed within 24-hours. The maintenance staff is also on-call 24/7 for any emergency work orders that need to be addressed.

Do you have a fitness center?

Yes! We have a cardio room and a fitness room, open from 5:00 am -12:00 am and they are equipped with treadmills, ellipticals, spin bike, water rower, free weights, strength training equipment, and much more!

How many floors are in the building?

Meridian at Braddock Station consists of two towers. Phase 1 Building has 11 floors and Phase 2 Building has 16 floors.

Do your apartments come with a washer and dryer in the unit?

Yes! Each of our apartment homes comes with a full-size washer and dryer.

Are utilities included?

Water/sewer (Studebaker Submetering), electric (Dominion Energy), and gas (Washington Gas) are billed directly to the resident by the utility companies.

Do you have storage?

Yes! We offer on-site storage units (3ft x 3ft x 4ft) which are available to rent for $20 per month.

Is smoking allowed in the community?

Our community is smoke-free!

Do you offer short term leases?

Yes, our lease term can range from 3 to 15 months.

Can I pay my rent online?

Yes! We accept online payments through the resident portal. You may set up recurring monthly payments at no extra charge. One-time online payments with eCheck, debit card, or credit card will have convenience fees assessed. We also accept checks and money orders.

How far are you from a National Airport?

Ronald Reagan National Airport is located approximately 3 miles from the property and is easily accessible via metro or car.

How do I submit maintenance requests?

You may submit maintenance requests online through the resident portal. You may also call or email the leasing 0ffice to submit a maintenance request. For after-hour emergencies, please call 703-683-4000 to be connected to the answering service, so that the on-call maintenance technician may be contacted.

Do you allow guests?

Yes, guest(s) are welcomed in our community! Guests may stay with our residents for up to 14 days.

Do you offer guest accommodation(s)?

Guest suite reservations are on a first-come, first-serve basis at $200/night. This great amenity is a 2-bedroom 2-bath furnished apartment, which includes all the essentials your guest will need for an enjoyable stay.

Do you have amenity fees added to the monthly rent?

Meridian at Braddock Station does not charge a monthly amenity fee! View all amenities.

Do you have grills on site?

The courtyard area consists of gas grills, a seating area, fireplace, outdoor TV, ping pong table, and much more for your enjoyment. This area is open Monday - Sunday from 10:00 am - 10:00 pm.

How long in advance do I need to submit a notice to vacate?

Meridian at Braddock requires a 60-day written notice if the resident does not intend to renew at the end of the lease term. Residents on a month-to-month lease term are required to provide a 30 day written notice.
